The National Digital Strategy Team at the Department of Communication Energy and Natural Resources have recently worked with the British Irish Council to produce two videos. The first is a 4 minute animation showing many of the advantages of being online, the second is a “collage” showing some of the initiatives underway in all BIC administration and the positive outcomes that are resulting. The key messages is “the internet is a really important resource with something of value for everyone”. Commenting on these videos Ireland’s Digital Champion David Puttnam said:- “Digital inclusion is crucial to our society – as shown in these important BIC videos. I commend everyone involved in this urgent agenda”.
